Week 2

Day 8 - Thursday, August 23 - Red Bay, AL to Natchez Trace State Park, TN - all of our repairs were finished up yesterday and today we are off to Tennessee.  This is where our cell phones and internet went haywire.  The Natchez Trace SP has a beautiful lake and good RV spots.  The beauty of the park makes up for the loss of cell and internet service!

While at the waterfront, the Queen of the Mississippi was docked there taking on fuel and a stopover for passengers.

Then we made a stopover at the National Quilt Musuem, but since I'm not a quilter, didn't go inside.

From Paducah we traveled to Symsonia where we stopped off at the Purple Toad Winery.  This is what I purchased.  To date there is only 1/2 bottle left!!

Next stop, Mayfield to the Woolridge Monuments, the 18 figure group of monuments, "the strange procession that never moves."

Then on to Henson Broom Shop -- I guess I have this thing for brooms!!!  And again I couldn't resist.  I bought a RV broom.

And a few shots on Lake Barkley
